I grew up in the San Antonio area (La Vernia).  I graduated from Sam Houston State University and have a Master's Degree in Educational Administration.  I have been teaching and coaching for the past 17 years at George West, Bellville and currently at Conroe ISD.  

 

I have been Teacher of the Year at Peet JH for 2009-10 school year, Teacher of the Month at Peet JH for the 2010-11 school year, Texas History Teacher of the Year (2011-12) by The Sons of the Republic of Texas, Lone Star Chapter #58 and The Teacher of Texas History Award by the San Jacinto Descendants (2012-13)(2016-17)

I am married to Julie (Franzen) Cicherski and have two children Joshua (13 years) and Jenna (10 years).
