Project 1 - Design a poster encouraging people to vote for one of the Texas Presidents. Be creative. Use the notes from this unit.

 

Project 2 - Texas State Coin. State quarters that have already been issued by the U.S. Mint. They then design a quarter for a state that has not yet had a quarter issued.

Project 4 - Create a diorama from the Republic of Texas

A diorama is a way to build an exciting scene in a small space. They usually display a historical time period, a nature scene, or a fictional situation, and allow a lot of room for creativity and innovation. Whether your diorama is a school project, a base for a model, or just for fun, building one is easy.  A shoe box is a simple way to create the scene.
